Breast Lift in New Hampshire
For many women, sagging breasts are an undesirable side effect of growing older. Gravity, genetics, and pregnancy all can take their toll on the delicate tissue of the breasts, resulting in a drooping, elongated appearance. While women today have many options for keeping their body fit and forestalling the aging process, there is very little that diet and exercise can do to improve the appearance of the breasts.
For women in and around New Hampshire, breast lift surgery with Dr. Jerome Sepic can restore the firmer, more elevated breasts of your youth. At his Portsmouth plastic surgery practice, Dr. Sepic specializes in breast procedures for women from New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine, and all of New England.

Your Breast Lift Procedure
Breast lift surgery - or mastopexy - allows women with sagging, deflated breasts to once again have the firmer, more youthful breast appearance they desire. The surgery removes the excess, stretched skin of the breasts, and moves the nipple and breast tissue to a higher placement on the chest. At Dr. Sepic's practice in New Hampshire, breast enhancement patients often choose breast enlargement or breast reduction in conjunction with breast lift for increased size as well as improved breast position.
Depending on the degree of lift you require, Dr. Sepic will use one of the following approaches for your breast lift procedure.
Donut Lift
Also called the concentric breast lift, this approach is best suited for women with smaller breasts which display a lesser degree of sagging (ptosis). This technique utilizes an incision which encircles the areola and removes a donut-shaped section of tissue from around the nipple, resulting in a tighter, more elevated breast. Dr. Sepic can reduce enlarged areolas during this procedure as well.
Lollipop Lift
For women who have moderate sagging of the breasts, the lollipop or vertical incision lift may be an option. It expands upon the circular incision of the donut lift by adding a vertical incision descending toward the chest wall. This allows for more skin removal and further tightening and repositioning of the breast tissue.
Anchor Lift
The anchor shaped incision is the most commonly used for New Hampshire breast lift surgery. This approach combines the circular areolar incision and the vertical incision with a curved incision along the inframammary fold, resulting in an incision pattern in the shape of an anchor or inverted "T." This technique allows for the greatest degree of lifting and reshaping of the breast, and is the best option for women with larger breasts displaying significant sagging.
Breast lift surgery is typically performed as an outpatient procedure under general anesthesia. Dr. Sepic will carefully monitor your recovery over several weeks, but you should be able to return to light activity within a few days. New Hampshire breast enhancement patients who undergo breast lift are generally among the most highly satisfied.
